Dear Morrison Parents,

The Morrison staff knows that the first day of school is quickly approaching, but we would like to give you some information to make the beginning of the 2024-25 school year as easy and enjoyable as possible.

SCHOOL OFFICE
Front office will be closed from July 3rd to July 301h Summer Office hours are 8:00 to 3:00 pm Regular Office hours are 7:30 to 4:00pm.

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
Class lists will be posted Wednesday, August 14th at 2:30 PM and will remain posted for your convenience outside the school office. Student class assignments will not be given over the phone. There will be no class changes for the first 30 days of school due to the stabilization period.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Thursday, August 15th and students are on a minimum day schedule, 12:55 PM dismissal. Please notify the school if your child will be absent during the first week of school in order to assess enrollment. For TK and Kindergarten, students will be on modified shorten day schedule. A separate email with this information will be sent out shortly.

ENTRANCE & DISMISSAL
Please refer to the map above for the designated entrance and dismissal areas. As a reminder, Morrison is a closed campus.
 

SCHOOL HOURS
All students Transitional Kinder - 5th grade will begin school at 8:10 AM and be dismissed at 2:27 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. All Wednesdays and scheduled minimum days, classes will begin at 8:10 AM and be dismissed at 12:55 PM. Reminder: TK and Kindergarten students will be on modified shorten day schedule for the first 10 days of school. A separate email with this information will be sent out shortly.

CELL PHONES/ELECTRONICS
If your child chooses to bring a phone to school, please remind them that phone should remain off during the school day and placed in their backpacks. They are not allowed to use their phone during school hours. Should students need to call or text parents, they may come to the school office to do so. Morrison is not responsible for any electronics your student brings. Video games are not allowed on campus.

TOYS
Students are prohibited from bringing any toys to school as this will cause a distraction or the student and others during the school day.

HATS/BEANIES
Hat/Beanies can be worn outside of class but cannot be worn in the classroom.
